Spoilable/liable to spoiling/likely to go off

1. Can I say "chemically composed of"?

2. Which one should I use: likely to go off/is not liable to spoiling/spoilable?

Since it is chemically composed of wax esters, it is not likely to go off/is not liable to spoiling/spoilable.

Thank you in advance!

chemically composed is fine, though checmically seems redundant to me. For the second part, you can use "... is not likely to spoil/deteriorate".

  • chemically composed is fine, though checmically seems redundant to me.
  • For the second part, you can use "...
  • is not likely to spoil/deteriorate".
  • I'm not familar with "go off" in this context though I've heard "go bad" .
  • Anyway, "go bad" is informal and you need something of higher register there.
