Splatter and Splash (having trouble)

Could you tell me which to say?

1 I was waiting to cross the street when a car drove over a puddle and splashed/splattered me.
2 I was waiting to cross the street when a car drove over a puddle and splashed/splattered me with water.
3 I was waiting to cross the street when a car drove over a puddle causing water to splash /splatter all over me.

Which is better and are all ok?

Thanks
