spirit of the game

I didn't really think this was in the spirit of the game, but Chie was a good sport, and agreed anyway.

1. What's the meaning of the spirit of the game?
2. What's the meaning of good sport?
Thanks.

1. Within the rules, but bending them. E.g. in tennis, if you hit the other player with a ball, it's your point, but the spirit of the game says you shouldn't play that aggressively.

2. Someone who enjoys the game, win or lose. A bad sport would be angry if he lost the game.
