Spirit of inquiry or inquiring spirit?

Please let me know if the following sentence is correct. Should I change 'spirit of inquiry' to 'an inquiring spirit'?

Besides fostering a spirit of inquiry, the remarkable curricular opportunities which the college provides, including various student clubs and organizations for sports, arts and culture, will help me explore life beyond academics.
