spid lid to remove it/provide him meals/knocked over the tea carelessly

We spin lid with our hands to remove it from bottle.

I brought this boy while he was begging on the street. Mom, please provide him meals/food as he is very hungry.

He knocked over the cup of tea ........... which was under/beneath her feet/legs.

Please correct my sentences and also fill in the blank. I guess "unknowingly" or "carelessly" fits in the blank but provide me with more appropriate words.

Gary, let me make a general note. Many of your posts lately have had things like "with his arms" or "with his hands" and they are not necessary. We assume that certain things we do in life are done with our hands.

Thanks a lot Grammar Greek.

It happened to be under his feet. There was a cup of tea under a chair and a man came and sit on the chair so the tea happened to be under his feet.

In that case, "carelessly" isn't fair - it implies someone should have taken care, but did not. No one should have to expect that there is tea under his chair. Unkonwingly means he did it and didn't even realize that he had.

I seem to recall this from a long time ago. Didn't you ask about this last year some time?

Thank you.

Yes but not the same question.

So you mean "carelessly" and "unknowingly" both doesn't fit in this sentence.

No, they don't.
Try accidentally.
