"sphere movements"

Hi.
I saw a sentence: "Sphere movements were determined by ..."
My question is why not to write: "sphere's movements". Is it correct as well?

Or more generally speaking, should I write
"sphere position" , "sphere radius", "sphere height"
or
"sphere's position" , "sphere's radius", "sphere's height" ?

Thanks.

"sphere's movements/position/etc." is incorrect. You need an article (or other determiner), e.g. "the sphere's movements/position/etc."

"sphere movements/position/etc." is also possible. This style may feel more general, and less about a particular sphere, but it is somewhat context-dependent.

Please post the whole sentence.
