Can I say,

They spent two days of time to finish the volcano.

It doesn't make sense to me. Grammatically sensible would be: Vincent Teo Can I say, They spent two days of time to finishing the volcano. But, I can't make out the way they managed to do it, and therefore what I corrected above is only grammatical structure to me.
