Spend/spent

"Why did she leave you?"

"She thought I cared more about playing golf than being with her."

"You spend/spent a lot of time on the golf course?"

"Yes. A couple of hours every day."

In the third line I would put a "did" before "spend/spent" so I guess it should be "spend", right? It's just Google has a lot of hits searching "Did you spent", but is that always wrong?
