1) What sort of answer would you expect to receive to a question like:
'How did you spend the summer holidays?' ?
2) Could it be simply what one did in the holidays? (e.g. where one went or what activities one did)
3) Or would it be equally possible to answer by using an adverb, like 'Quite well, thank you'?
