spend money on manpower

Hi teacher of english,
Can you say how you write this for an essay that I am writing.

How is it correct to say:
The amount of money the company spends on manpower is little which is why they can afford to sell products for so cheap.

Thank you in advance

I suggest something simpler: The company spends little on wages, so they can afford to sell their products cheaply.

Can I use 'manpower'? How do you use 'manpower'?

Can I use 'for cheap' instead of cheaply? Is it considered wrong by teachers?

Can I use 'manpower'? How do you use 'manpower'?-- You can use 'manpower'; I merely gave you a more usual reading: 'salaries' when you are talking about money and 'manpower' when you are talking about production

Can I use 'for cheap' instead of cheaply?-- Only in casual conversation.
Is it considered wrong by teachers?-- Yes.
