Spelling

There was a pre-historic animal called 'Mayacine' or 'Miacin'.
Could any one tell me the correct spelling of the name of that animal.
I will be delighted if someone could write a few sentences about that animal.
Thanks.

Hi fhasan! I think it's Miocene, but its not an animal, its a geological time, an era! The animal, if it is, is Miacis (Carnivora ) found in Paleocene to Middle Eocene in Germany.

Thank you so much deepa! Yes it is Miasis. It was a
cat like meat eater during the dinosaur era.
I was so madly looking for the spelling.

I thank you again.
