Speedy and fast

Hello everyone,

Are the adjectives "speedy" and "fast" correctly used in the following sentences?

1. My car is 240 m/h speedy.

2. My car is 240 km/h fast.

Kind regards,

JA

These are not standard English. They are not totally impossible in creative language. "m/h" is usually written "mph", assuming "m" is miles, though perhaps it was just a typo for "km/h".

We say a car is fast, not speedy.

Here is some natural English.

My car is very fast. It can do 240 mph.

Its top speed is 240.

mph, not m/h

But we often omit it when speakiig.
