Speeding ticket

I need help composing a letter to a judge to get a speeding ticket dismissed. I live in CA & was on my way to WA. While driving thru OREGON I got a ticket for going 82 mph. I was trying to get past 3 semi trucks before the passing lane ended. I haven't been pulled over in 10 years +. After I got past the semis I IMMEDIATELY slowed to 65. The speed limit changes multiple times on the highways up there so I wasn't sure what it was but 65 is usually a safe speed to travel & where I live, in California, 65 is usually the limit. I had gone at least 2 maybe 3 miles before the trooper swooped up behind me - I'd like to know how fast HE was going!- and pulled me over. Keep in mind, I had slowed down WAY before I saw him. I recently had 2 major surgeries for cancer & am currently undergoing radiation therapy. I can't travel for long periods & getting stuck behind 3 semi-trucks going 35-40 mph would make the length of time enroute unbearable for me. I did not deserve this ticket because I did not & do not make a habit of driving fast. Please help me compose this letter-time's ticking for me!
Thanks, Ronda
