Speech

In this in stance, I am at a total loss about whether my recollection of words that I said should have a new line...

It was 2002, and after spending three months living in California, I had acquired a strange mix of American and Glaswegian slang, combining words such as “aye” and “trash” in the same sentence:

“Aye, I’ll take the trash out.”

Thanks in advance!

It doesn't need to be on a new line. But you might put it on a new line if, as we do in this forum, you want to put extra emphasis on that particular quote by itself.
