Specific past / passed question

0Hi,02br
02br
00Please could you settle a 'pub argument' for me. We were discussing the spelling of a sign that read "No Unauthorised Persons Past This Point"02br
02br
00I personally thought the sign spelling should have read "Passed" as oppose to "Past".02br
02br
00My colleagues disagreed. Much searching of the internet ensued and I found evidence to support both spellings. Please could someone categorically end this argument by letting me know which spelling is correct (or are they both correct?)02br
02br
00Thank you in advance for your replies.02br
