When I hear "peculiar features" I think of thing that are odd, unusual, or unexpected.

If every time you started a print routine, it sang "happy birthday" to you while showing pictures off smiling chimpanzees, that would be a very peculiar feature.

Generally speaking, 'particular features' sounds like some but not all features, eg some features that you have selected because they are important or interesting in some way.
