special birthday gift

I heard an interesting story on CNN the other day. The wife gave a very special birthday gift to the husband. I would never have guessed it. The wife offered to give no-strings-attached sex every day for a year. When she first suggested it, the husband was so shocked he thought she was joking and sort of turned her down, telling her to reconsider. During the interview, after a year, she admitted that they didn't achieve the goal but were very close, averaging about 26 times a month. What an interesting couple!

Are there any mistakes?
Thanks.
