thanks for the reply , but you know if look it up in the dictionary , two forms are easily available

You're right -- I don't know what I was thinking! "Especial" is so rarely used in American English that it just didn't look right to me -- but it is in the dictionary. Maybe it's more common in British English -- you could certainly get by in the U.S. without ever using it.
