Speaks to vs speaks volumes

Could you please tell me how to say this naturally both high register and low register?

The people that work for him speak to how bad he is at hiring people./speaks volumes about his recruitment process./says a lot about his recruitment process.

Thank you so much

"Speak/s to" and "speaks volumes" are both fairly formal, in that they are appropriate in more formal contexts the way "says a lot" is not. In my opinion they all work fine informally.
