"Speaks to my heart"

Hi all,

Is it correct to say " speaks best to my heart", meaning "[a certain subject] is strongly associated with my way of thinking/feeling/seeing things"?

For example: I recommend you to read this masterpiece. As a matter of fact, I liked it a lot myself. It would be naturally for me to offer you something that speaks best to my heart"

Or is it more appropriate to say "lays at my heart" or "found its way to my heart"?

I had ransacked merriam-webster and other authoritative dictionaries but didn't find any satisfactory explanation.

Native speakers, help! Emotion: smile

Thanks a lot, Clive! Now that it's clearer to me I've decided not to use the "heart" expression in my text. It doesn't seem to fit in anymore
