Speaking year numbers

I am sure how to read the years between 1100 to 1999 (ninety nineteen-nine). But I am not acquainted with other types of year numbers. I heard 2000 pronounced as twenty oh oh or 1505 as fifteen hundred and five. What about years like 2, 21, 562, 1032, 1001, etc? Some small synopsis would be appreaciated, if possible.

By the way, what about BC and AD? How are they to be uttered?

2, 21, 562, 1032, 1001: 'Two', 'twenty-two', 'five sixty-two', 'ten thirty-two', 'ten oh one'. You have some latitude: 'one thousand thirty-two' and 'one thousand one' are OK too-- the only 'rule' is, ' do your listeners understand you? ' 'Twenty oh oh' is pretty strange-- and so is 'twenty hundred'; I would personally prefer 'two thousand'.
