How effective are these actions in preventing or coping with stress? - avoiding stressful situations - expressing your feelings - taking regular exercise - having and active social life - practising relaxation techniques
- I don’t think that avoiding stressful situations does help. We have to learn to face up those situations, since we can’t avoid them forever.
- Expressing your feelings. I think that this method is very helpful since you can speak with someone about your situation and this will make you have a different point of view, and maybe you can ome up with a solution or the other person with who you were talking with will give you one.
- Taking regular exercise is good for your health and it also helps yo relieve stress.
- Having and active social life can help as a distraction to stressful situations. But later you will have to face up the situation.
- I practised relaxation techniques at university but I think you have to be almost an expert if you want to do them in the right way otherwise they won’t work.
