Speaking Clearly

Ok, I basically speak clearly in general but some words I pronounce my r's like my l's. So for example instead of romeo I may say 'lomeo'

I find it very very embarassing as people laugh at me, does anyone know how to overcome this?

Keep your tongue turned up so that it is not touching any part of your mouth. This gives you the R sound. If your tongue touches your teeth or any part of your mouth above your teeth, you'll get the L sound.
