Hello teachers.
I have planned speaking activity for upper intermediate students.
I'm sure that it contains numerous grammatical errors.
So please, correct them and let me learn more

Thank you so much!
Aim: To give students listening and pronunciation practice of minimal pairs.

Prepare plenty of minimal pairs to be used. The software Powerpoint will be used in the class in order to show slides to the whole class. In a slide, write two sentences, A and B which contain a minimal pair and two more sentences which can be followed by A and B.
procedure: StartFragment>
1. After practicing pronunciation of minimal pair with their partner, invite a couple to the front. On the screen there will be two sentences(A,B) with a minimal pair and two more sentences(a,b) to be followed by the sentences A and B. When one student have decided which sentence to pronounce, let the student write down the answer on a sheet of paper and cover it up so that no one could see it.
2. Have the student pronounce the sentence twice. After listening to them, the other student needs to choose which could be followed by the sentence the first student pronounced. The rest of the students in the class may guess the answer together. When the student made up his mind, let him/her write the answer on the board. Check the answer uncovering the sheet of paper.
3. Play this game with two or three more couples.
