Speak simply

When someone speaks too sophisticated, especially when it's not required, in my language (Italian) you can use funny sentences in order to tell him/her to speak simply. These sentences usually sound like a biting joke. literally... Ex.:"Speak as you eat!!!" or "Speak in capital letter!". Is there something like this in English?
