Is it true to say "speak by himself" when I want to refer to someone who is speaking on his own while no one else is around listening to him or talking with him. He is just speaking on his own like someone with mental issues.
In fact, I think "speak by himself" isn'tcorrect, but I am unable to think of another expression.
