In recent years, scientific exploration of space has been receiving a great deal of media attention due to its vast sum of money spent. Although people raise doubts about its practices, the financial resource poured into this researching project seems to be reasonable.
On the one hand, an urgent trip to outer space is vitally important to ensure the survival of the human race . First, humanity is tackling such a rapid depletion of natural resource that we cannot guarantee how long it may last. According to the empirical researches conducted by a group of environmental activists, the overconsumption of pure water is seriously impinging on marine life, which results in the desperate shortage of water for production and daily activities. Furthermore, the whole world is facing a threat from the lack of land and accomodation for ever-increasing rate of birth, which urges results from universe study. As a prime example, Hanoi is a so densely populated city that it is common picture of residents struggling to find a place to settle down.
On the other hand, although the research on the space brings about significant benefits, a large amount of invest money should be spent wisely on social issues such as crime, poverty, and immigration. First, our ecology is due to be exploited due to terrible suffer from human activities. The awareness of people is ascribed to environmental damages: cutting down trees to establish a new railway system in Hanoi, releasing chemicals or even medical waste directly into the river,and so on. Second, crime is at an alarming rate that recently, there is a dramatic rise in robbery and burglary, posing a threat to our living’s security. Thereby, such financial resource should be subsidized for looking for feasible solutions that can be applied by both individuals and governments.
In conclusion, the money used for exploring space seems to be reasonable. However, the government and corporation should take this plan into account before put it into practice , meanwhile there still exists many controversially social problems.
