If I want to say there is a woman whom I adored very much, because she was the nicest I saw in the world, but now I have caught glimpse of someone even more beautyful, which tense should I use?

Never have I met a woman in person more beautyful than she is.
Never did I meet a woman ... .
To me, the present perfect means you still have to wait until you have seen a more beautyful woman.
Is the second correct?

Hello NB,

I have not seen a nicer woman than she.
I did not see a nicer woman than she.

May the first sentence mean that now, for the first time in my life, while I am saying the first sentence, someone more beautiful than her is standing in front of me.
Or in this case should I use the second sentence?

Thanks in a.
