Hi teachers. I wrote this monolog for a story I'm writing. Three questions:
1) Does it sound natural?
2) Would you use 'so' or 'which'?
3) It is punctuated like you would have?
"He is a great friend. When I lost my grandma two years ago he showed up at the funeral to support me. He knew how much she meant to me so she meant a lot to him too, so much so that he insisted on helping carry the coffin, so/which he did. I'll never forget it."

When two independent clauses are joined by "and", a comma is mandatory. Don't they teach this any
