So/Which he did.

Hi teachers. I wrote this monolog for a story I'm writing. Three questions:

1) Does it sound natural?

2) Would you use 'so' or 'which'?

3) It is punctuated like you would have?

"He is a great friend. When I lost my grandma two years ago he showed up at the funeral to support me. He knew how much she meant to me so she meant a lot to him too, so much so that he insisted on helping carry the coffin, so/which he did. I'll never forget it."
