Why can't to be useable in this sentence?

What about:

I'm leaving at 13:30 to South Africa.

Would this be ok?

I'm leaving for South Africa in a few hours (this is supposed to be the correct one) I'm leaving to ( 'to' is usually used to said your destination like 'I'm going to')
