Sources - Tables

Hello. When a table is the author's, what expression one should use to indicate this below the table?

Table 1 - X
______________
Headings
Data
______________
Notes. [HERE] "The present author's"? "Source: the present author's"? "The present paper's"? "Original content"?

Thank you!

I don't think you need to say anything, if it is a paper that you are publishing. The reader assumes that the content is the author's, unless otherwise referenced as from another source.

Thank you.

But in this particular case (it is for an academic meeting), they are requesting that all tables, even those that are the author's, should have the source shown.

eg.

Source: Current research of the author.
Source: Unpublished research of the author.
Source: Published research of the author. (footnote- indicating publication)
Source: John J. Jones (just the author's name)

But the best thing to do is ask the conference chairman for the required publication format.
