Mister Micawber .You cannot write it that way at all.
Then do you write sentences following:

1. I hear a fire truck saying "Ppibbo"
2. I hear a fire truck "Ppibbo"
3. I can hear the sound "Ppibbo" that fire truck makes

Your fire trucks say "Ppibbo"? Our say "rrrrRRRRRRRrrrrrrrrrRRRRRRRRRrrrrrrrrrrRRRRRRRRR."

onizo"3. I can hear the sound "Ppibbo" that fire truck makes
Then would 3 work with "rR..."?

And for the same principle, would you say, "can you make a funny sound, "RRRRRRrrrrr"?

onizoThen would 3 work with "rR..."?
I think I would change the order:

3. I can hear the "..." sound that the fire truck makes.

As far as the part within the quotes is concerned, you can write anything you like. However, the more extreme or unconventional the choice, the more informal the result is likely to seem.

I think it's OK (apart from the missing capital at the start of the sentence).

so if I summarize the discussion

"table tennis which makes the sound "ping, pong" "is incorrect,
but "can you make a sound, "ping, pong" is correct.

Have I correctly understood?

onizo"table tennis which makes the sound "ping, pong" "is incorrect,
I wouldn't say this is categorically incorrect (it may need a comma after "which", depending on sentence context), but it seems just slightly odd to me to say that "table tennis" makes this sound. It is not a complete sentence.

Then, what's about I can't write at all statement by Miste Micawber?

Also, would you say, "I can hear the sound, "rR..."?
