Sound off

Hi,

I've noticed some people not showing up on the forums lately. Perhaps it's time we had/did a forum sound off.

Do you find it natural to use 'sound off' like this?

Not really-- it is a military term which many are unfamiliar with. 'Roll call' would be much more understandable.
