Grammar

Sound natural or not

Hello, Would anyone please answer the question below?
I'm wondering if the following sentences sound natural and have no grammar mistakes,

1.The smell travels for 1 kilo meter.
2.The smell travels up to 1 kilo meter ahead.
3.You can smell it from 1 kilo meter away .
4.The smell reached 1 kilo meter ahead.

and if there are mistakes or any better way to say, I would like examples.

I would be more than happy if someone could check them and teach me.

Thank you in advance.
