Just my two cents...The sentence is 100% grammatical, however, not very natural. That said, The nuance between white and grey hair are not exactly the same in this context. Usually white hair- signifies old and unenergetic, whereas grey hair may be considered "seasoned", "experienced " and wiser ( usually less aged)

Another problem is that truly black hair is not all that common in the US, so in that context, I wasn't thinking of people. I understand that it's not the case in many other places, but "black hair" is more likely found on a pet than on the people I know. (Dark brown, yes, but not really black.)
