soul

can we say 'to draw a soul from a body'
or 'withdraw'?

If I were to say to take a soul out of a body then put it back in, can I use "withdraw" and "insert" relatively?

I'm trying to find the best verb for the instance

An odd question without more context. Please expand.

It can be used as a metaphor - The wonderful music drew his soul out of his body - He was totally entranced and involved in the music.

odd indeed... Lets assume a soul can be physcally draw from a body, as well as insert a free one to it.. like in an ATM machine you can make a 'withdraw' or 'deposit' to an account. What'r the right verbs for the 'in' and 'out' operation will be for soul?

some came to my head were:
'out': extract, withdraw, draw
'in': insert, implant, etc

remove isn't good as it sounde

What are the right verbs for the 'in' and 'out' operation - I don't think there can be any "right" or "wrong" verbs in this context as it is a fantastic concept. Your suggestions seem good but have a look at a thesaurus for possible alternatives: http://tinyurl.com/2kehel

Just for the record, I chose 'withdraw' and 'infuse'
