So..that and too...to

Dear all,

Could you help me check out the structure of "so... that' and "too.....to" ?

Thank you for your help.

It is so small that I can't see it = It is too samll to see it.

The stone is so heavy that the young man can't lift it. = The stone is too heavy to lift it.

I was so tired that I caouldn't go out.= I was too tired to go out.

Dear Adonis You do not need to repeat the noun at the end of a "too" phrase (it is an adjectival phrase).. It is so small that I can't see it = It is too small to see The stone is so heavy that the young man can't lift it. = The stone is too heavy to lift For that reason, your third example is quite right..
