sorry, it's urgent. Please advise, thx sooo much!

I was given an answer that goes:

Answer: I left school 2 years ago, when I finished my IB Exam. (since)

And I am asked to create what the question might have been in the form of present perfect using since.

Is the following a correct one? Please advise, thx soooo much!

Question: Since when have you left school?

My guess: How long has it been since you left school? (This is idiomatic in the worst sense.)

- A.

Edit. By that, I meant you would have no way of knowing about this construction unless you had already learned it.

(Sorry, I was having trouble with the Ooopses.)

Thank you soooo much for your advice! I suppose that's the only way to deal with the answer.
Cheers!
