Sorry, I confused you.

Hi

Would any of these sentences sound natural in the given context? Any other suggestions please?

Frank sees his friend a little distance away and shouts to him. The man looks back and turns out to be a total stranger. Frank walks up to him and says:

  1. Sorry, I confused you.
  2. Sorry, I mistook you for someone else.
  3. Sorry, I took you for my friend.
  4. Sorry, I thought you were someone else.

Thanks,

Tom
