Kindly evaluate my SOP. Its urgent.

Statement of Purpose

My first encounter with computers as a child was at the age of seven when my father got a new personal computer at home and I used to sit long hours trying to explore, this resulted in a predisposition towards computers from a very early age. Then in school, I started learning "BASIC". The way a few commands could help a turtle draw such magnificent shapes used to leave me spellbound. In order to understand the hardware, I started dismantling the PC and started checking how each part looked and worked. As I grew, I was witnessing the growth of computer science that impelled me to take up a career in this field.

The first year lectures of my undergraduate were about freshman courses which I was already familiar with, however, in consequent years, the versatility and facile nature of Computers made it even more interesting and really left me mesmerized and enthralled. This solidified my interest in Computer Science and exposed me to the enormous potential of this developing field. As the depth of studying about computers increased, it helped me to widen my background in various concepts. I also paid special attention to vital subjects I would deal with in my professional life.

Besides theoretical work, I have gained practical knowledge in Computer Science through various project works. In my sixth semester, I made “A Graphic shell” as a part of my Software Engineering course. It was built on a .NET framework which enables users to enter a graphics environment and use various specifically customized applications such as scientific calculator, web browser, e-mail client etc. In my eighth semester I did two projects, I interned at Cognizant Technology Solutions. Here I made an App for the “OneCognizant platform”. This app aimed at helping the Cognizant employees’ book guesthouses during transit. As a part of my final year project, I did my project at Centre for Artificial Intelligence and Robotics titled “Rule Generation and Maintenance Engine for Information Extraction”, that deals with extraction of vital information from raw data.

These experiences were invaluable for me since I learned the serviceability and functionality of various real world applications. I also learned to be a team player, to manage a team and to be a leader which can be only attained through experience. I learned how one should always look for an optimal and out of the box solution to a problem and not be satisfied with hackneyed solutions.
Currently I am looking forward to take on Masters in the field of Computer Networks and Systems which has evolved as my fields of interest during undergrads. The Computer Networks field is not a random choice. It is a result of profound and long thinking about which field would be the most convenient to my interests, my background, and local society needs. The flexibility of the curriculum is what interests me the most and will provide me the level and quality of education I need to widen the scope of my knowledge and skills. International education will present me a rare opportunity for a solid foundation for a future career in this field along with personal growth. The department website revealed a very strong and distinguished bearing of faculty involved in research in the area of computer networks along with the excellent facilities which has boosted my resolve to study at this esteemed Institution. I look forward to being an active contributing member of the student community.
