Is there something wrong with this paragraph:

Fortunately, my husband was accepted at the **** to pursue his postgraduate studies. This not only allowed us to live in one of the most beautiful cities in the world, but most importantly the opportunity for me to hopefully attend one of the most prestigious universities as well. Ultimately, my educational goal is to earn a master's degree in ***, followed up with a Ph.D. in the same field. My career ambition is to be involved in both teaching and research. My research interests are in the areas of **, ** , ** and **. I strongly believe your department is the best place to equip me with the excellent level of training I need to be prepared for these objectives. I bring with me my determination, knowledge, the desire to learn and an aptitude for teaching and team work.
