Song Writing & Lyrics

song

I've been trying to find the name of a song for years now, it's from the 1900's and I don't think it has any lyrics it's just sort of chanting. It sounds a bit like " aye oh aye aaayyy aye oh ayeeh aye oh ayeeh eh aye oh aye aaayyy aye oh aye" just goes like that

The 1960's group The Vogues had that distinctive chant in the refrains of their songs Five O'clock World and You're the One. Videos of both are on Youtube.
