Sometimes wise men also...

Are these sentences grammatically correct and natural?
? Sometimes wise men also adopt the path/way of lies for their own interest. They disgrace their word. Is this not to be considered as offence?

Hi The sentences are correct in English and I understood them. In the first one you need to decide whether to say 'path' or 'way', so that you can omit the '/' symbol. I would choose path, but it is for you to decide on that.
