Sometimes tourists may damage tourist sites. Explain what some of the negative effects may be. suggest some solutions to this problem.

In most societies and cultures nowadays, people's demands for a hedonistic life are increasing and one of the most popular ways is to travel. There is no denying that tourism brings about many advantages, however, that does not mean drawbacks should be underestimated or overlooked. From my point of view, the disadvantages brought by tourism outweigh its advantages.

It goes without saying that the fauna and flora are usually the first to suffer from over-tourism in the most popular natural tourist destinations. In some natural destinations, environmental issues led to the destruction of entire ecosystems. Among these problems, we can mention deforestation, exploitation of the soil, and pollution. but what is more dangerous, there is no policy for either raising awareness or protecting these destinations. In some cases, this situation has no possibility of redemption, such as, for example, what happens to coral reefs around the world. As global warming and tourists irreparably ruined them, corals are part of a natural system that is becoming extinct.

What is more dangerous, the most identifiable shortcoming of mass tourism is cause severe and permanent consequences to the environment. According to recent research, in my country, Vietnam, 2019 is estimated to have 230.000 tonnes of plastic substances along Vietnamese beaches and islands. Overtourism promises to spell long-term effects on the environment. Frankly speaking, services especially tourism gradually tear down the environment with the significant accumulation of waste it leaves. Almost them are plastic, nearly not decomposed.

Therefore, who's bound to bear the responsibility? All of us have to do so. First of all, the government should create more programs to raise the awareness of travelers not to undermine the cultural heritages anymore and to educate them to be more respectful of places. Authorities ought to offer some "days off" for places to restrict the increase in waste. I hope in the future there will be friendly tourism and people's requirements will not demolish our planet.
