Sometimes and most times?

Hi,

I think I got the idea about some time, sometime and sometimes. But how about most times?

e.g.

"My mobile phone does not work sometimes."

and

"My mobile phone work most times."

Are both correct sentences? Why sometimes is one word but most times two?

Thanks

  • As amended, yes.

  • That's just the way it is.
  • Possibly the "tt" of "mosttimes" has discouraged the formation of that word, but I doubt anyone could really say for sure.
