Something/Anything

Hi. I have this piece of dialogue...

Please let me know if you want to do something.

Do you have anything in mind?

I don't know. Maybe we could go see a movie or something.

My question: Is the 'anything' natural and a better option than something in sentence 2?

anonymous s the 'anything' natural and a better option than something in sentence 2? Not really. Both 'anything' and 'something' are possible: Do you have [anything / something] in mind?
