"If you know the crowd is planning something of which/ whatyou disapprove, have the courage to bow out gracefully."
My grammar book says that which should be in the sentence because there is an antecedent 'something'. However I think 'something' is not an antecedent and there should be 'what' instead.
Which should be in the above sentence between 'which' and 'what'?
Top answer
Something is the antecedent. Use which or that.
