"Something" in negative clause

Hi,

I know the correct sentence shoyld usually be: I dont want to break anything.

I was wondering if in some special circumstances, it could also be ok to say "I didnt want to break something", for example to put more emphasis on something. Or would that sound very wrong?

Thank you!
