I don't see any serious problem. Their is questionable as the pronoun referring to the singular anyone , but his or her is more and more considered hypercorrect, while his alone is sexist, so their is more and more accepted as the pronoun for a personal referrent of unknown ***. The best solution is probably to change anyone to learners .
