Someone's name or people's names

I have the special skill of being able to spell someone's name in reverse.

The second sounds more correct, but is the first one alright, logically or grammatically?

It seems to me that "anyone's name" would work better if you want the same meaning as "people's names".

If you tell me you can spell someone's name in reverse, I'm inclined to ask, "Whose name is that?"
